Uniting the 9/11 Truth Community – August 16th, 2008

“9/11 Truth is a very important issue with the power to bring lasting change to our country.” ~ William Sloane Coffin, clergyman & international peace activist

Greetings to the 9/11 Truth Community and Welcome All

Rep. Dennis Kucinich with 9/11 First Responders

Not all of us will be able to go to New York or arrange a local 9/11 Truth Memorial, so these words of inspiration are also intended for those who are moved to take a moment of thoughtful remembrance of that day and the unfolding of events since then. We make remembrance not just in honor of those who lost their lives or a family member, but for those of us who are now more alive than ever and have dedicated ourselves to the cause of exposing 9/11 truth as a road to profound societal change.

We remember for a living reason. We are moved by our desire to live in a kinder more peaceful world and we are sustained by our vision of a better future.

We remember and have compassion for the millions who do not yet know the truth and are unwitting victims of governmental mind control and propaganda programming.

We remember and ask for a blessing for the many who are diminished and dehumanized by their participation in the life denying and life destroying military industrial complex, and for those who yearn to come forward with their incriminating knowledge and to find atonement in reaffirming the value of justice. God grant them courage.

Join with us in a day of prayer and of thanksgiving, for the truth of September 11, 2001 HAS been revealed to the world and we give thanks for that.

‘May 9/11 Truth be properly investigated and widely publicized and may this contribute to greater justice, liberty, prosperity and peace for people all around the world.”

We are grateful that our persecutions as activists have been light and we are renewed in our resolve to act fearlessly to seek justice as free citizens.

We ask for guidance, strength and protection so that 9/11 Truth may continue to reveal itself, and for this truth to be spread throughout the world, to enlighten and uplift all human beings, as we cherish what is truly good in all of us, while holding accountable those responsible for the criminal acts .

Pray for the healing needed not only for the families and victims of 9/11 but for those of us who never cease exposing the truth of 9/11; healing for the misunderstandings we have endured; healing for the relationships affected; healing for those of us with families and loved ones who are concerned about our safety. Let us reassure them that they are valued and loved, even as we continue to devote ourselves to this cause out of our deep need to manifest this great awakening.

On September 11, 2008, pray for the lives lost, pray for the cause we must further, pray for the minds we must awaken, pray for inspiration and creativity as we work cooperatively to build a better world for all based on an equitable and sustainable model.

God of All Peoples and All Creatures Whatsoever, We ask for wisdom to know what to do, For courage to do what we know we should do, And for compassion in dealing with ignorance and cowardice.” Amen~ David Ray Griffin

Rabbi Lerner wisely cautions 9/11 activists to keep their eyes on the prize: a positive vision of a post-9/11-truth world, and to avoid focusing too narrowly on the evil people responsible for 9/11. The point of 9/11 activism, in this view, is to contribute to building a better world by discrediting aggressive war, fascism, and global injustice, rather than simply prosecuting a few criminals while leaving the corrupt system that produced them in place.

For those that want to use the occasion to build relationships, 911DOP recommends that you engage your neighbors, local pastor, rabbi, priest, iman, with a request to hold prayer services or a prayer vigil for the truth of 9/11 to emerge in our consciousness.

  • Hold a prayer meeting with your friends
  • Have your pastor hold a prayer service
  • Hold a vigil at your local 911 memorial
  • Make a prayer tree for truth

Engage the largest community in America, the faith community, in the important work of understanding that we reveal the deceits of war and government in order to achieve lasting peace and fellowship.

We can deliver a message of solidarity and empathy. We can join with our fellow man to tell the many stories of the brave first responders who saved lives and reported the anomalies of the day; the whistle-blowers who risk their careers and lives with the information they want to bring to light; the heroic families that demanded an investigation be held and then held 911 Commission to task when the fraudulent Report was published. They continue to seek justice to this day.

“The hope of a secure and livable world lies with disciplined nonconformists who are dedicated to justice, peace and brotherhood.” ~ Martin Luther King, Jr

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it–always.”

~
Mahatma Gandhi
